The Witwer Lab is actively recruiting postdoctoral fellows. Please contact Dr. Witwer if you are interested in these opportunities.
Dr. Witwer is a member of the Cellular and Molecular Medicine (CMM) PhD program at Johns Hopkins. His lab is open for rotations and potential thesis projects for students in the CMM program or in programs that allow placement throughout the School of Medicine. Prospective students from outside the university must first apply to the CMM program.
International scholars may be approved to pursue an independent project in the lab, contingent on minimal financial support from the home institution and visa approval. A minimum time commitment of six months is required. Currently, COVID-19 is making these positions more challenging to fill.
Dr. Witwer strongly supports undergraduate research and has mentored more than 25 undergraduate projects. Undergraduates have presented at scientific conferences, received research awards, and become co-authors on scientific publications. They regularly go on to professional degree programs. Please contact Dr. Witwer to inquire about available research projects.
Technologist opportunities are available from time to time. Please contact Dr. Witwer for details.
