The EV Core Lab offers a range of consultation and EV technique services

Consultation Services

We offer consultation services for the following: (1) experimental design to ensure compliance with international standards for EV research,  (2) adherence to MISEV guidelines, and (3) guidance post-EV separation characterization. 

EV Separation Techniques

The following EV separation techniques can be performed individually or sequentially: Size Exclusion Chromatography, Tangential Flow Filtration, Differential Ultracentrifugation, Density Gradient Ultracentrifugation, and Affinity Separations

EV Characterization 

Using state-of-the-art technologies the EV Core lab offers the following techniques for EV characterization: Resistive Pulse Sensing, Nanoparticles Tracking Analysis, Nano-Flow Cytometry, Interferometric Imaging with Immunophenotyping, Transmission Electron Microscopy, Super-Resolution Microscopy, and Multiplexed Ultrasensitive ELISA.

Additional Services

The standard characterization techniques offered are Western Blotting, ELISA, and Protein, Lipid, and Nucliec Acid Quantification.​ Comprehensive profiling for RNA and proteins is is offered in collaboration with existing John Hopkins Cores.
