Tanina Arab, PhD (tarab1@jhu.edu)
Tanina obtained her Bachelor degree in Biochemistry from Mouloud Mammeri University (Algeria) and then moved to Lille University (France) where she got her PhD in January 2019. Her thesis was on Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) from primary microglial cells and investigation of their protein content. Tanina joined Dr. Kenneth Witwer’s lab in May 2019 as a postdoc. Her project aimed to investigate microglia derived EVs cargo as a novel marker of the inflammatory process in Parkinson’s disease.
