Tom Driedonks, PhD (tdriedo1@jhmi.edu) obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Wageningen University (The Netherlands). After graduation in 2011, he worked for 3 years as a Research Technician in a biopharmaceutical company in Leiden (The Netherlands). He then did his PhD at Utrecht University (The Netherlands) and received his degree in November 2019. In his thesis, he studied the non-coding RNA composition of extracellular vesicles released by immune cells in homeostatic and inflammatory conditions. Tom joined the Witwer lab in January 2020 and is currently working on EV in latent HIV infections.
